Samsung presented the Galaxy A14 5G at CES, an affordable smartphone aimed at the entry-level range of the Android platform.
The Galaxy A14 5G is a A13 update presented in December 2021 and shares the same philosophy. A solution with enough features for most users (or for use as a second cell phone) that reinforces the lower part of the catalog of the world's largest cell phone manufacturer. However, its screen is a little bigger and has better resolution, better cameras and is a little cheaper. In fact, it is the Samsung's cheapest 5G phone .
The base of the terminal is composed of a polycarbonate chassis and a large IPS screen (6.6 inches) and with an adaptive refresh rate of 90 Hz. Its engine is a Dimensity 700 SoC that the Chinese manufacturer MediaTek offers for this range of terminals. It is manufactured in 7 nm technological processes and has 8 cores (2 Cortex A76 at 2.2 GHz and 6 Cortex A55 at 2 GHz) and an integrated Mali-G57 MC2 graphics card. It includes a modem to support 5G networks.
The combination of RAM and built-in storage is typical for this level (4 GB + 64 GB). The internal storage can be expanded with microSD memory cards up to 1 Tbyte. The battery is not bad at all with a capacity of 5,000 mAh and 13-watt fast charging.
The camera system has been updated with a 13-megapixel front-facing selfie camera housed in a waterdrop design. The rear camera has a triple sensor, with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth camera, and another 2-megapixel macro sensor. You'll see it summarized in the features table:
